Dangerous Drums

for Maschine, Battery and Ableton Drumrack

As you never have enough drums I felt like starting 2015 with a freebie: 18 kits for Deephouse, Techno and Minimal, prepared for instant use in Maschine, Battery and Abletons Drumrack. All kits make use of the internal effects of each software, to give you maximum flexibility. And fun, of course!

The kits work with Maschine 1, 2 and Studio, Battery 3 and 4 and Ableton Live 8 upwards. You can load the drums into any sampler anyway. All drums are royalty free.

So what do you have to do for the kits? Nothing, just download. No emails are collected, no like buttons to be hit, nothing to be shared. Just grab the stuff. If you feel like sharing or donating, it’s highly appreciated, though.

Psytrance and Techno DJ/producer Marco Scherer has been in the EDM production scene since 1992, beginning, as many DJs do, by spinning at parties. Adding his first synth into the mix in 1997, he forayed into the world of production and never looked back. He is now five albums and countless singles and EPs into his career, with sounds ranging the gamut from staunch techno to his signature trippy trance.

Scherer has released material under several pseudonyms - Datacult and Villa Violet are the latest - on many labels, including BMSS, Sony, Geomagnetic and Harthouse Records. He has also enjoyed a healthy live schedule, with appearances in more than 20 countries. Scherer has designed sounds for Roland, Vengeance, Loopmasters, Digidesign, ReFX, and Tone2 and has written a monthly column for BEAT magazine since 2010. Recently, he landed a track in the film Slinger - the directors cut of the science-fiction classic Cyborg. //
